My A380s are fueled by genuine jet fuel, not plants. Rockets are also fueled with kerosene these days. It's cheap and does a good job.

The main reason to go to biofuels is to take opm from people who do useful things and transfer it, with deductions, to cronies who do "Green" things. It's like a window tax. There was no particular merit in having opaque walls, but governments want to loot producers who have got money, so they make up some dopey reason. As long as they get money from somebody doing something useful, or has already got it, and give it to their cronies, that's all that matters to them.
