Judging from the scale of the times/dates on that X-axis, the graph appears to end in 2009, but hard to tell because the distance between various dates on the X-axis is roughly 10 months, and the date format appears to change from mm/dd/yy to dd/mm/yyyy for the last 2-3 data points. At any rate, the graph does not appear to show the current weighted value index of the US$. Or am I missing something?

This dollar chart is six years out of date. The dollar broke out to fresh 52 week highs yesterday and today and is at 89, which is well off the lows shown on this chart.

I too welcome a discussion of macro economic factors affecting the price of oil and the state of the global economy.
