Best we can do is continue to vote against the worst candidate. ....I don't agree........for instance, If I were an independently wealthy conservative in Boehner's district, I would run a primary challenge against him with the absolute goal to take him out at any cost. Expose his record in no uncertain terms and explain to the electorate that you will be on the Nov ballot. on the Constitutional Conservative ticket regardless of how you do in the primary.......... with the stated goal to take out Boehner by giving the seat to the Ds. Also, state, you will run again in two years to take back the seat OR deny the seat to Boehner should he try to regain it. The same should be done with McCarthy and that fraud whip from La. They will get the message......the ONLY message they understand.......their political lives will depend on it. I've seen it work here in NY. It's the ONLY way.
