A Virginia cop is kidnapped and murdered by several black gang members.
.....................................................
Sharpton, where are you?!

.........................................................................

07 Dec, 2014 by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton
rightwingnews.com

Such hypocrisy and reverse-racism is breathtaking. The brutal truth is Sharpton, Holder and Obama will never address this officer’s death because he was white and because they protect the black gangs out there. Officer Kevin Quick was kidnapped and murdered by four black gang members – they belong to the Bloods street gang known as the 99 Goon Syndicate out of Los Angeles. Quick was forced to drive from ATM to ATM to get money, then he was taken out in the woods and executed as a gang initiation rite.

It never really made the news and it certainly didn’t make Obama’s talking points. No, he was too busy stirring a race war over a young thug who attacked a police officer, who then did his job and took that thug down.

Obama is now embroiled in nationwide protests created by radical groups at his bidding.

From Three Percenter:

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WRIC) -According to federal court documents, four people have been charged with murder in the death investigation of Capt. Kevin Quick.

Daniel Mathis, Shantai Shelton, Mersadies Shelton and Travis Bell (a.k.a. Kweli Uhuru) are charged with murdering Quick. The capital murder charge could carry a very serious penalty, according to U.S. Attorney Tim Heaphy.

“That is a penalty up to the death sentence in this case that is available for that offense.”

Five others – Gert Wright III, Anthony White, Anthony Stokes, Leslie Casterlow and Devante Bell – are facing gang-related racketeering charges in connection to the case.

Those indicted are all members of a subset of the Bloods street gang known as the 99 Goon Syndicate.

The indictment spells out how members of the gang allegedly carjacked and kidnapped Quick and then drove around to various banks, attempting to withdraw cash from his accounts before murdering him and dumping his body in Goochland County.

The gang is also charged with numerous robberies, shootings and assaults taking place across Central Virginia as well as drug and weapons charges.

Officials from Virginia State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Waynesboro Police Department held a news conference Friday at the United States Attorney’s Office in Charlottesville to deliver details on the charges the suspects face.

Quick, of Rockfish, was reported missing on Feb. 1, when he failed to arrive at his girlfriend’s residence in Albemarle County. The 45-year-old captain was last seen in Nelson County on Jan. 31, and was found dead in Goochland County on Feb. 6.

Holder, Jackson, Sharpton and Obama are racists, pure and simple. Had this been the KKK or some other group and a black person had died, it would have an apocalyptic moment and more riots and mayhem would have been pushed, pandered and promoted. But another white cop dies, this time murdered brutally, and Obama shrugs. He’s too busy going to the hospital for a sore throat and acid reflux to give a crap about another dead infidel.

Not a peep from the sycophant media. Riots are too alluring – a cop’s murder… not so much. Sharpton is nowhere to be seen or heard on this – he’s out there organizing protests and riots for a new faux civil rights movement where he can pad his tarnished legacy and make more money.

NOT A PARODY: Columbia Law School allows students to postpone exams over Michael Brown/Eric Garner
............................................................................................
Powerline ^ | 12/08/2014 | PAUL MIRENGOFF

Columbia Law School is permitting students claiming to be impaired due to the emotional impact of recent non-indictments in the Michael Brown and Eric Garner matters to postpone taking their final exams.

Here is the text of a message from interim dean Robert Scott to the law school community:

The grand juries’ determinations to return non-indictments in the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases have shaken the faith of some in the integrity of the grand jury system and in the law more generally. For some law students, particularly, though not only, students of color, this chain of events is all the more profound as it threatens to undermine a sense that the law is a fundamental pillar of society designed to protect fairness, due process and equality.

For these reasons, after consultation with students in the law school and with colleagues on the law faculty and in the administration, I am taking the following steps to assure our responsiveness and involvement in this particular moment:

- In recognition of the traumatic effects
these events have had on some of the members of our community, Dean Greenberg-Kobrin and Yadira Ramos-Herbert, Director, Academic Counseling, have arranged to have Dr. Shirley Matthews, a trauma specialist, hold sessions next Monday and Wednesday for anyone interested in participating to discuss the trauma that recent events may have caused .

- Several members of the faculty have agreed to schedule special office hours next week to be available for students who would like support and/or would like to talk about the implications of the Brown and Garner non-indictments. These office hours will include:

Conrad Johnson – Monday, 12:00 – 2:00, Room 833
Olati Johnson – Monday, 12:00 – 4:00, Room 630
Susan Sturm – Wednesday, 2:15 – 3:15, Room 617
Katherine Franke – Monday, 1:00 – 3:00, Thursday, 9:00 – 11:00, Room 637

- I support the idea of an open community dialogue to discuss the concerns of students in the wake of recent events, and to share diverse and collective notions of injustice that these cases raise. I will encourage all members of our community to attend.

- The law school has a policy and set of procedures for students who experience trauma during exam period. In accordance with these procedures and policy, students who feel that their performance on examinations will be sufficiently impaired due to the effects of these recent events may petition Dean Alice Rigas to have an examination rescheduled.

- Several members of the faculty have agreed to work with students to develop a reading group, speaker series, and/or longitudinal teach-in next semester in which the group would explore a series of sessions where we educate ourselves and formulate a response to the implications, including racial meanings, of these non-indictments. In an effort to include the larger community in which we live and study, this work may include a collaboration with Columbia’s Center for Justice and with the Schomberg Center.

In closing let me just add my hope that through these and other efforts all members of the Columbia Law School community can can come to have a greater sense of mutual support and trust.

The key passage, bolded in the original, is the rescheduling of exams for the “sufficiently impaired.” This, I’m told, is the essence of what the black students association asked for. The stuff about counseling, dialogue, re-education, etc. looks like window dressing.

The video of Garner is certainly disturbing. But anyone so unstable as to be incapable of preparing for and taking exams due to grand jury proceedings not involving themselves or their families should be given an indefinite leave of absence in which to get better.

What is really behind the request for postponement of exams? I suspect it’s the fact that the students in question would rather protest with their friends and perhaps disrupt New York City than read cases, review lecture notes, or whatever it is that students do these days to prepare for exams. In addition, the students in question presumably want the law school to take their side on what they take to be a political question. In other words, this is, in part, a power play.

In 1970, many colleges closed up shop early following the shooting of students by the National Guard at Kent State University. The shootings disturbed many students, but we weren’t too distressed to attend class and study for exams. We just didn’t feel like it.

Instead, we were intent on causing trouble. College administrators figured that, under the circumstances, it would be better to send everyone home.

College administrators come and go, but for the past 45 years they can usually be counted on to take the path of least resistance when the left agitates. Even when doing so results in behavior and conduct that seem like self-parody.

College prof makes students recite anti-American 'pledge of allegiance'
............................................................................................................................
December 08, 2014

foxnews.com

Metropolitan State University Professor Charles Angelotti says the pledge he has students recite is satire, designed to make them question. (CampusReform.org)

If you sign up for Denver college professor Charles Angeletti's American Civilization class, be forewarned that you're going to have to recite his invective-filled 'New Pledge' -- and according to some of his students, also be ready to swallow a big helping of his politics.

Angeletti, who teaches at Metropolitan State University of Denver, has students learn an anti-American spoof of the Pledge of Allegiance that denounces the U.S. as a Republican-controlled bastion of injustice, all while spewing his own far-left brand of politics, according to current and former students.

“I pledge allegiance to and wrap myself in the flag of the United States Against Anything Un-American,” reads Angeletti's version. “And to the Republicans for which it stands, two nations, under Jesus, rich against poor, with curtailed liberty and justice for all except blacks, homosexuals, women who want abortions, Communists, welfare queens, treehuggers, feminazis, illegal immigrants, children of illegal immigrants, and you, if you don't watch your step.”

“We’re very racist, we’re very repressive, we’re very Christian oriented, we don’t tolerate other kinds of thinking in this country.”- Charles Angeletti, professor at Metropolitan State University

The anti-U.S. recitation, first reported by higher education blog Campus Reform, was a satirical pledge aimed at getting students to question their nation's leadership, Angeletti said. The self-proclaimed atheist and socialist told the site that he has been distributing the pledge in his classes for nearly 20 years as part of his lesson plan.

“We’re very racist, we’re very repressive, we’re very Christian oriented, we don’t tolerate other kinds of thinking in this country,” Angeletti told Campus Reform. “I could go on and on -- and do, in my classes, for hours about things that we need to do to make this a better country.”

A student from Angeletti’s class told Campus Reform that the flier was handed out to the entire class and all students were required to recite it.

“This was an attempt to propagandize an entire classroom of young adults,” Steven Farr, a freshman majoring in meteorology, told the blog site.

Officials at Metropolitan State University of Denver did not immediately return requests for comment. The 24,000-student school has the second-highest undergraduate enrollment in the state and has several notable Division II sports programs. It also bills itself as a top choice for active-duty military and veterans to pursue higher education, and has several notable Division II sports programs.

“This is typical elite, progressive, post-modernist garbage,” said Pete Hegseth, a Fox News contributor and CEO of Concerned Veterans for America. “I hope and believe that vets in his class will challenge this professor.

“We have seen this time and time again. Lessons like this stack the deck against veterans and basically tell them, you fought for nothing," Hegseth added. "You fought for a lie.”

On the academic review site RateMyProfessors.com, students appear to mostly like Angeletti and consider him an easy grader, although some said he punishes conservatives.

"Charles is the best professor at MSU Denver," wrote one student who took the class.

But another student said your opinion can cost you if it doesn't jibe with Angeletti's.

"If you are a liberal, you will like him," a student wrote. "He encourages you to speak out and voice your opinion... Unless of course, you are a Republican."

Another student said class was unfocused.

"All this teacher does is ask what is on your mind at the start of every class and that is how class is run everyday based on what students say," the student wrote. "The only reason I got a B is because I hardly showed up to that class because it was so pointless. All he does is argue with everything you say and you are always wrong. Didn't learn anything."

Visiting soldier can't stay in wife's Central apartment, landlord says
...............................................................................................
FOX Carolina ^ | Saturday, December 13, 2014 | By Andrew Reeser

CENTRAL, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A soldier returning home for the holidays to see his wife and newborn baby in Central is being kicked out of his wife's apartment after the landlord said he is overstaying the time allowed for visitors.

Sergeant William Bolt is stationed in Missouri, but his wife has been in Central. She gave birth to their daughter two weeks ago.

Bolt said the landlord at The Groves apartment complex in Central told him he had overstayed, saying visitors are not allowed to stay in the apartments past seven days, per the agreement signed by Bolt's wife, Lily.

"I'm stationed in Missouri and we haven't seen each other in six months. What's the problem with me staying and visiting with my wife?" Bolt said.

The landlord, whose name is Chuck, told FOX Carolina he enforces that rule for all his tenants.

Since Bolt's name is not on the lease, even though he is a spouse visiting, the landlord said he is not allowed to stay. Bolt said the landlord threatened to press charges and double his wife's rent if he stayed.

"He stated to me that he didn't care about our situation, he didn't care about me being in the military," Bolt said. Bolt said his wife is a Clemson University student and new mom. He fears she could be evicted.

FOX Carolina showed the agreement to an attorney, who said that provision is vaguely written, and said the landlord would have a hard time pressing charges, since the person visiting is the tenant's husband.

On Saturday, Bolt said his wife finished final exams at Clemson and they would be leaving early to visit her family in Virginia for the holidays.

They are planning to arrange to sit down with the landlord and a mediator to discuss how to change the lease to suit both parties. Bolt said they are hoping to find legal representation or someone from the university who will act as a mediator.

Bolt said his concern is the well-being of his wife when his leave ends. He is concerned about the possibility Chuck will want to raise their rent substantially.

Bet that the landlord is a card carrying Democrat who hates the military?
