Kal, it was IE 3.x. I still run Windows 3.1. I went in at near the system level and made sure that all traces of IE were removed from my hard disk. I used Lotus Magellan to do most of this.

Neither shall I allow either of those beasts near my system, those beasts being Win95 and any flavor of IE. In fact, the only Microsoft programs I use are MS-DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.1, and only because using Windows is all but mandatory to use the Internet to its full advantage. Otherwise, I use DESQview, DOS, and DOS programs.

An interesting bit of trivia about DESQview is that time was it would run Windows and Windows programs in standard mode. To my knowledge, Windows cannot run DESQview.

And BTW.......that discussion yesterday with that other guy. He would do well to look into his history book and follow the break up of Standard Oil, aka rocker-feller. Where do you think all our fine American Oil Companies Came from? They were once One.

Get ready from MicroSoft, NetSoft, ThisSoft & ThatSoft.....there toast.
