Paul Re "If you expect a lower profit then you must also expect a lower price."

The lowered profit expectation has been known ever since the
TK comment - why do you think the stock is down from $100?

Where the buyers will come from - MU reported disastrous profits
today and the stock rallied. If anybody is buying that dog - how
could you resist the world premier tech company at 30% off
+ a low PE to boot? This is a shocking bargain.

It seems that Intel's current price already reflects an expected
lower profit for the Q. If the bad news is already built into the
price then one might choose to conclude that the downsize risk is
outweighed by the upside risk. But that's all short term stuff
anyway.
