Darrell, by response to you was from the Federal Government report released TODAY ... here is the URL: cio.fed.gov

I was simply pointing out that in today's report, from the OMB, that 34% of the mission critical systems have been renovated. Perhaps Mr. Horn and the OMB disagree, but my quoting an OMB report (from today) should not be called HYPE!

Regards, Bill

Darrell, FYI, I've followed CR's posts on another thread (Zitel) and he may be short but both his reasoning and the sources he gives are well thought out and worth paying attention to--it's not just hype.
Best

>> Please. Stop the "short" hype. It's getting real old. <<

Jeez, you come in out of nowhere with your Sky Is Falling Y2K "pronouncements," and when someone points out they don't buy your tired overused scare stories, you accuse them of posting "short hype."

This will be hard to grasp, but your claims that no one has "woken up" yet to Y2K problems are no longer viewed seriously...
