Very true. But the US Govt. should support the fracking industry to withstand the onslaught. I think the market will decide that the OPEC countries cannot take it below 60 a barrel which is the break even point for the fracking industry.

Besides our reserves together with the fracking industry can bring these OPEC countries to their knees. In the meantime we can move away from our oil dependence to the extent we have in 10 years time along with design of new high mileage auto engines.
