MSG raised a lot of money last night for children in crisis: rangers.nhl.com Last I checked they raised 85K, in a little over 3 hours. (Probably ended up reaching 100K). There was one boy with cancer who was signed to a Ranger contract and skated with team pregame. Even I contributed - though the pitch was for Rag fans. But I'm NYC first and foremost. Now that's class. One wouldn't expect that from Isles management or Nassau County. All Nassau County is good for is standing up and applauding Fascist US troops. In NYC we put our money where our mouth is towards people in crisis. Nassau County can GFI. You should see a game at MSG; it is very beautiful and high end. Just don't wear a Flyer Jersey. -g-
