Arguments against Yahoo and other internet stocks.

I think there's two kinds of internet stocks, the fantasy ones because you can't figure out how much they'll make (Amazon, Yahoo...) and the ones that have made money (Etrade,..).

As soon as ETrade started to make some real money, they were hit with tons of competition from other companies because the cost of entry into the internet was so cheap. That's when people put the pieces together and the stock tanked.

Why won't this happen to Yahoo? As soon as they start showing good returns, they're going to get hit with competition from everyone on the planet. (This argument goes against Amazon also.)

>>They must like The Japanese government's recovery plan.

Low taxes! One of the stock markets favorite friends!

I'm sure that will be looked at as a very positive move. Now where are they going to get the moola to pay for all the bad loans?
