But what about the margin interest in Webstreet? Is it as low as Datek? Talk about money market rate, E-trade is the worst. Any balance below $10k will only earn 2% APR, and they claim the money is FDIC insured. Only the balance >$10k can be in Money market account. But my question is that who cares about the FDIC insurance if they can take the risk in stock market. Just one more way to rip off small investors.
