That's just not true at all. Certainly, Bush showed more character than anyone since his dad was in office.

There were no real scandals during the Bush 43 administration. No as in NOT ONE. The only "scandals" were the bogus Waxman styled nonsense with no substance. Obama has been one after the other, and it reeks of gutter politics and nonexistent character. Which wasn't a surprise to me; it was plainly visible during his first campaign.

One Bush's great features is that you never have to worry about him lying or using underhanded political tactics. And of course, as it turned out, he was far more open and transparent than his successor who has run the most opaque administration in history.
