Wars Within Wars is a good description of the ME. It makes one dizzy just to read the story, without even trying to understand the details. Bottom line -- all those nations and non-nation "players" do NOT need nukes in the region. Without nukes, things would eventually settle. With nukes - there will be wars with loss of human life that may dwarf all previous wars - combined. If Europe had nukes during the 30 year war in the 17th century, there would be NO Europe. And I'm not so sure about the rest of the world.
