Duncan, I know it's a lot to ask out of sell-side Street analysts, but you'd think some of them would have been able to come up with this on their own.

Let's see - we have a company targeting what is for them somewhat of a new segment (albeit one which grew 50% sequentially in terms of revs. last Q) and selling them through a greater % of resellers than other parts of their product portfolio. The product line is growing and they need product out there on the front lines.

Are we to believe that none of these analysts realized that this segment was being agressively targeted and that perhaps these particular products would actually have to be available to customers?

But no. We get the "red flag" flying on finished goods from the Street, which amazingly made CSCO very cheap going into the split and made someone insane profits on some calls that looked VERY shakey Monday. Isn't it amazing how that works?

Good trading,

Tom
