Moonray,

Interesting post!!

Having lived in Japan (Tokyo) for three years, this is hardly surprising. We have to keep in mind, that this report comes from the same culture that thinks masculinity is increased by drinking rhino horn. That eating eels in the springtime will prevent disease. The same culture that allows the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia) to shoot it up near a school, then apologize to everyone on public television if they caused anyone an inconvience!!

I do recognize the effects of flashing lights - it is well documented in the literature of psychology.

Having suffered through JTV's programs for 3 plus years, it is not surprising that "a little excitement" on TV would cause such a reaction. This is the biggest thing since the Saturday night "Butt Show"! Oh, the "Butt Show" had a couple guys judging the merits of some young vixens gluteous maximi - on a scale of 1 to 10. Very popular - at least with the foriegners.

Don't get me wrong. I love and respect the Japanese people and their culture. Just take this episode with a grain of rice so to speak. I am more than confident that those same inflicted children will be requesting the latest from Nintendo by the end of the week!

Regards,

Gary
