BC,
You should watch "Cops" sometime. trying to comply with three different police offices shouting out conflicting commands can be "challenging".
I've watched many episodes of Cops. Every single time, I can easily understand what the officers are shouting, even in cases of multiple officers confronting a suspect.
I've had a cop screaming at me in the middle of the night, and for no reason, and pointing his piece at me and all the while acting like a lunatic.
I'm sure he had a reason.
One of my best friends was choke holded to death by three cops. The judge threw out his widow's law suit because he decided there wasn't evidence to proceed and waste money on a trial.
I suspect you're leaving out key details of the story. Just like the "witnesses" in Ferguson who swore that Michael Brown was shot in the back until forensics proved otherwise.
