Doug, re: LU. One has to buy in to a totally new management, free to commercialize Bell Labs (something mother bell never did)incredible patent and scientific assets or not. I agree with you--the risk here is an intellectual property rights portfolio of inestimable value coupled with great scientific talent that may go the way of PARC, or, they could ring the bell. Their potential is just too great to ignore but that doesn't mean I wish I hadn't bought just after the spin-off! Can they reorganize the culture? Nobody knows, but my guess is yes.
