Colorado MEDtech Inc. to produce Fresh Air Product for Vencor Inc. BusinessWire, Tuesday, December 30, 1997 at 10:10 BOULDER, Colo.--(BW HealthWire)--Dec. 30, 1997--Colorado MEDtech Inc. (NASDAQ:CMED), a Boulder, Colo.-based medical products and services company, today announced that it has received an initial order from Vencor Inc. (NYSE:VC) to produce 15 oxygen generation systems. The initial production order is valued at approximately $2.6 million and deliveries will be in 1998. The oxygen generation system, called Fresh Air(TM), is a CMED proprietary product that converts air from the atmosphere into high-grade oxygen. The system is designed to produce oxygen for ambulatory and stationary patient use in nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.
