Colorado MEDtech Inc. to produce Fresh Air Product for Vencor Inc. BusinessWire, Tuesday, December 30, 1997 at 10:10 BOULDER, Colo.--(BW HealthWire)--Dec. 30, 1997--Colorado MEDtech Inc. (NASDAQ:CMED), a Boulder, Colo.-based medical products and services company, today announced that it has received an initial order from Vencor Inc. (NYSE:VC) to produce 15 oxygen generation systems. The initial production order is valued at approximately $2.6 million and deliveries will be in 1998. The oxygen generation system, called Fresh Air(TM), is a CMED proprietary product that converts air from the atmosphere into high-grade oxygen. The system is designed to produce oxygen for ambulatory and stationary patient use in nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. "The Fresh Air product is another example of the benefits of our close working relationship in developing and manufacturing products for use in Vencor facilities," said John V.
