when the consumer class is spending and the producer class is "toiling away at lower wages" . . .
the producer class's wages are only lower than the consumer class's wages.
BUT, they are higher than zero and higher than their wages when the consumer class is not spending.
i.e. a rising tide lifts ALL boats
It does not matter how one compares to another, only how they compare to themselves during different times.
I don't care that Bill gates and Warren Buffet make so much more than me . . .
I am just happy that they do because then I can make more than I used to before they came along!
It's not about "fairness", it's about the possibilities.
