Here is a good deal for you. I can get a better price through these guys because I order stuff from them all of the time to build out systems for other folks. Since you are grid tied here it is: 8000 Watt Grid-Tie Chaori System $1.06 per watt sunelec.com If I had to run the generator 24/7/365 and burned.. 2000 gallons of LP a year plus having to rebuild the generator at least once a year like my neighbor who is directly north of me in the trees it's easily... over $7000 per year. LP costs about $3.00 a gallon delivered by barge up there. Fortunately I get lots of sunshine all day long up there. Lots of trees on my lot but they are all north of the PV's and solar thermal hot water collectors. I'd never live in the woods myself.. I like the sun streaming in, especially in the wintertime!
