Here's the good news: All three of the Isles injured players practiced with the team yesterday. That includes Hamonic, Boychuk and Czikas (4th line center). My guess is that Hamonic (out 4 games) plays tonight while Boychuk (out 7 games) comes back sometime next week.

Bad News: Isles PK is the worst in the league. No team is going very far unless that improves.... Isles have given up 17 goals in three games and have blown two 3-0 leads. Without Hamonic and Boychuk, the Isles are getting pushed around in the crease. Please come back Johnny. We have excess forwards who can be traded for another defensemen. I think 2013 first round draft choice Ryan Pullock can fit the bill if given the chance.

Good news: By the time Montreal comes to town, we should have all our defensemen healthy, barring further injury.

Lots of people fearing the the Isles will unravel again. I just think they are coming back down to earth. They are a playoff team, not an elite team.

We play the BlackHawks tonight, which is always a very exciting high flying game when these two teams meet. The Colliseum should be sold out.
