I remember when crude oil was below $5.00 a barrel... don't know if that would happen again, maybe, maybe not... but certainly below $40.00, and lower still, there's an oil glut in the world, there always has been, even during the Carter years when the oil shortage was the big hype... the high prices have all to do with market greed...

Looking at the 25 year chart, I think it's certainly possible to see $46.80 and possibly testing the $30.00 level before the panic selling is really over, take a look at that red line way down at the bottom of the chart...
