Meathead & Steve, I've been following your little spat, and it's been quite humorous! I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents worth. A friend of mine bought a Compaq about 8 months ago at CompUSA. He beat Dell by over a hundred dollars. The kicker is that the Compaq was a discontinued model and took over 6 months to get it working because the Compaq support sucked! They sent people to his house twice, and then he had to take it to another authorized repair center before they figured out that the problem was an outdated BIOS. You get what you pay for!
