The most popular plans are the "Silver" plans like mine. My deductible is $1000. YOU LIE!

Not when you're deductible is $6,300 or $5,000.

Right. Because all of the plans have high deductibles...

Oh, wait. They don't. So what was your point?

If $5,000 in medical bills causes a bankruptcy to be "a medical bankruptcy" then ACA really does little about it since annual deductibles for most of the most popular plans approach or exceed $5,000.

Making up numbers I see.

Again.

Almost two-thirds of the 8 million Americans who enrolled in health insurance through the Affordable Care Act picked mid-range "silver" plans, according to new data on sign-ups released Thursday by the Department of Health and Human Services Department.

Your figure of $6300 is the maximum out of pocket for any plan. That includes deductible, co-pays and the like. That includes the cheap catastrophic plans. So all plans have a lower deductible. Most have a lower out of pocket.
