My only concern is the resources they are putting into the office-pack with the $49 IBM eSuite about to be launched. Those concerns were alleviated by the announcement that they are going after educational institutions with special pricing and Net-based distribution. The core business looks pretty solid.

It is the only company listed, but it is not the only company with the tecnology. Gilder only lists one company for each ascendant technology.

Read the fine print. At the bottom of the chart it says, "This table lists technologies int the Gilder Paradigm, and representative companies that posses the ascendant technologies. But by no means are the technologies exclusive to these companies."
