Jane, In 1 John is were I got the verses on jealousy being the root of hatred and murder 1 John 3:11-15 This is the message you heard from the beginning. We should love one another. Do not be like Cain who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brothers were righteous. Do not be surprised brothers if the world hates you. We know we have passed from death to life BECAUSE WE LOVE OUR BROTHERS. Anyone who hates his brother is a mrderer and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. Unfortuneatly there is so much struggling and it is not a new thing. Cain and Able were the first case of sibling rivalry and that is what I see here also. God loves both children and for His sake we should make every effort to get along.I can feel anger rising as I continue to seperate the Jews from the Church. I am really basing this on Romans 11 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned they are loved on account of the Patriarchs. For Gods gift and call are irrevocable. Isn't that good news Gods gift and call are irrevocable. That is the God I serve He is faithfull to unfaithfull people. Something to meditate on. What is righteous jealousy that God has? In the 10 commandments and New Testament. The tunnel they are refering to is under the Wailing Wall it facilitates more tourist coming and going through the Temple area for Israel. When they finished breaking it through it came out near the Dome of the Rock ( Al Aska Mosque) The Holy site for Muslims that sits on the wing of the Temple. Well the Arabs went berserk thinking Jewish terrorist were going to bomb their site. This was never the plan if they wanted to bomb them they could certainly do it at anytime. So they made a major thing about it to Washington and the U.N. That is why I said 99% of the people involved are not even angry especially not the whole world as they say. That is why I would consider that the tourist industry is a major source of income in that area and Arafat wants the Christians all over the world to come to Bethlehem for financial reasons. Please continue to pray that he has or does become a believer for He would then stop his terrorist involvement and realise that God wants the land restored to Israel.I don't mean to sound so hard core because I am not, I realise God can and will do as He pleases .
