Agreed. I do the same. Practicality usually wins out over the emotion, once I hit the ballot box. However, I know this: if Hillary is the Dem candidate, I know with 100% certainty that I will not vote for the Dem party. However, if Warren is nominated, there isn't single known GOP candidate that I would vote for over Warren. Warren is the only one I know on either side of the aisle that will FIGHT for the 99% with every last breath she has. She's already been doing that. So it's not speculation. It's fact. She'll get my vote in the Dem Primary, should she run. If Hillary is the candidate, then I also know this: I'll vote GOP.

Here's what's funny to me. In the last 4 Presidential elections, I've voted Dem twice and GOP twice. On this thread, most label me as a Republican, despite the fact that I am registered as Unafiliated and that my voting record is split. When I post on GOP threads, they ban me as a liberal. Go figure. Neither party likes me, because I call out hard truths. Those truths are that both parties in general are fucked beyond repair. However, both parties have individuals within them who have not lost their integrity. Warren is one of those. I hope she wins as fervently as I hoped Obama would win when I voted for him in his first term.

This country needs something different. Unfortunately, Obama wasn't it.

Someone else pointed out the Brooks article could be a trap!

The Hillary folks trotted out Al Franken today and a week ago Howard Dean. Two big lefties. My guess is to slow down Warren.

And it has slowed me down. I really trust Franken and Dean, so if they think we should take that path it is hard for me to argue with them..

Yes, I would be firmly in Warrens corner, from what I know today. But that's bad news as the candidates I really like seldom win. So I have to settle for and support the less than perfect.

BTW Brooks thinks she can win:
