I am aware of the other bennies, Murrey. I live in Hawaii and the shipping over here stinks, as you might imagine. I have used PRIME on couple of "free" offers and it's not worth it to me. I buy everything but my food there and would use them for food if I was still in LA. One of our posters is a woman who uses it there and they deliver the groceries up her stairs and unpack them for her. Huge help when you get old.

I have been a Prime member for about 4 years and like it a lot. One of the benefits is you can sign up several other family members to use it. It is supposed to be family "in your household," but they really don't check. The added people get an email and can set up their own shipping and billing options.

I got A Prime primarily for the free shipping but I wish the steaming movies had a better selection and was easier to use. We use Netflix with Roku and it is a breeze. Prime seems more difficult to find things. The good news is they do have rental movies that Netflix doesn't have, but that is an additional fee.
