Caveat Emptor, right?

When I was buying an electric razor a couple of years ago I discovered that competitors were having employees buy a competitor's razor and then write a bad mouth review of it. Then return the product, I guess. It was obvious that they were put up jobs.

When buying a product I am not familiar with, I check the bad reviews first. Find it helpful. Another thing that works when shopping for something new is to enter "best" in front of the name of the product in the query. This usually turns up the best selling item first.
