<<REMEMER IOMEGA IS A NO GOOD COMPANY THE COMPETITION IS GOINT TO KILL IY. SELL WHILE IT IS NOT TO LATE>>

Not to mention it sells products that Joe sixpack can't afford.

Sorry, I just had to use that phrase, everyone else did.

I just got an e-mail from stag lee, low and behold Robert, you were right. Why e-mail me when you can respond to my message. Anyways, here's the content of the e-mail:

I have no intention of ever posting on the IOM monster thread anymore, I
assure you. I have a friend who is participating in an INTC beta test.
He/she has been assisting as a volunteer, helping them find bugs for the
past six weeks or so; the beta test ends this month. (I'm hesitant
about revealing anything about him/her, because I'm not sure the beta
testers were allowed to discuss the product.)
When my friend discribed the software to me, my first thoughts were of
its ability to compete with the IOM drives. I posted on the IOM thread
to see if anyone else had seen or heard of it, that's all. I don't work
for Intel, or anything. I've never posted on either the IOM or the INTC
threads before, or any of the semiconductor threads. Check for
yourself. I look for overvalued "bubble" stocks, and I've believed IOM
has been one of them for years.
Judging by the response I got on the IOM thread, I may just have to
short IOM. I'm 12 for 12 in short sales in 1997 (excluding yahoo <g>).
Anyway, I'm not trying to hype intel or bash IOM. Just looking forinfo.Later.>>

Keep in mind how when he heared of this product, his immediate concern was that it wont be compatible with Zip.
