lol... getting a bit defensive are we???

You are NO LONG TERM INVESTOR. PERIOD
I'm not sure what you call long term... but I didnt start trading seriously until 1998 - 1999. I still have some stocks in my portfolios from around that time.

I have several stocks that I have been trading for the last 15 years --- in and out... often holding a core position.

I just had a couple of my sons come into my office recently so I could show them how to make $100k in one stock. I have had the stock a year or so and told them it should produce at least $100k in profit in within 3 years but I hope to hold in the 3 - 10 year range.

but yeah, I do a lot of trading... and if DRYS drops a couple of pennies I will probably declare my love for it annulled and move on.

The money lost by speculation alone is small compared with the gigantic sums lost by so-called investors who have let their investments ride.
