Buy 1/2 your ADBE position now (or soon).
Following is my posting on 12/17/97
----------- Begin 12/17/97 msg --------------------------
Unfortunately, Adobe will still have the small PEs as you mentioned. But IMHO it will be alive again in the April time frame when the anticipation of major apps upgrade starting to kick in. $35 is a good price to buy NOW.
----------- End 12/17/97 msg ----------------------------

Starting from 5/98, Adobe will have accelerated revenue due to upgrade of their major apps. (This was the reason J.P Morgan upgrade Adobe this week).
The remaining risk is the Q1 earning due to be announced in mid March,98. The stock may pull back some if the earning is not as good as expected. But the earning may be just OK or that even the earning is a few cents less the stock may not get lower than $40 due to the expectation for better earning in Q2 and the rest of the year.
I suggest to buy 1/2 of your Adobe position at $42. I expect to see Adobe in low 50 in the 2nd half of the year and I will sell at that price. So far, all the news (e.g. From MacWeek) are very positive about the coming PhotoShop5.0.
