I have no problem with boomers and SS benefits earned that they get on the back end. I have a big problem with BOTH Corporate welfare and the individual welfare state ushered in by LBJ's Great Society being out of control... As to Medicare well the costs are so out of control look at how much it has gone up since 1965. The boomers paid into that as well so deserve it but we do need Paul Ryan type thinking to keep a lid on the growth going forward. I think we are screwed no matter what long term given how big a percentage of GDP is now tied to military, medical, finance and the vast umbrella under entitlements.
