You're nuts.

Obama was "going to happen" from the instant he spoke at the convention. They knew it, that's why they gave him that spot. That's how it worked with Clinton, and they knew a rousing speech is all it takes for "stupid American [Democrat] voters."

NO matter how empty the suit, how shallow the rhetoric, how inexperienced, how weak the track record -- if you can lay on the black accent when necessary, talk in the proper rhythm, and you have a 24 year old speechwriter who is too stupid to be anything other than an idealist, you can sway the Democrat constituency.

Twice, even. It just doesn't take much to impress stupid people.
