"Todd1956" has posted "inside" information on the BRY and MHR IV threads in the past that later proved to be wrong.

Doesn't mean he is wrong here though. Doesn't mean he is right either.

Considering the large role energy has played in the moderate economic growth we've had since 2009? If the recent sell off does become a classic cyclical energy bust, it means we can't rule out a recession, later next year.

There are substantial Cap Ex cuts being announced by essentially every company. That money is jobs and equipment - and then the jobs of the equipment manufacturers. It is a sad time for such news to be coming to families that have been on a great run. Far better for some of us to have portfolio hits than to have job hits.
