If my auntie had balls, she'd have been my uncle! I am not going to engage in hypothetical every scene from a 24 TV episode and tell you if Jack Bauer was right. Do the very best you can to uphold the principles you believe in. Then if you fail in your quest to live honorably, do what must be done, but with the shame of knowing that you have failed in upholding your principles. That is all there is to it. Of course if your principles are that you only need to be marginally be better than the worst the world has to offer, then you won't have much of a dilemma. ST
