Look for a big tech rally here on Japan's tax cut news, Bank of Japan's sale of US dollars last night ($1.0 billion) for the first time in 5 years and election-eve excitement being generated in Korea.

Trey: The technology works. We need competition from the CLEC's and cable modems to push the RBOC's into action. The fear of losing revenue is the only thing that seems to push an RBOC.

On the crosstalk issue. If an ISP runs ADSL from their site to the CO to the end customer... we get crosstalk. The ADSL modem needs to be in the Central Office. This is why USWest cut off xDSL over dry copper... I think that's the term... until later.
