Paul,

Thanks for your post. On the Yahoo Nextel message board, someone wrote that McCaw has taken an active lead at Teledesic, the (was 800+, now 280+ planned low-earth orbit satellite) "Internet in the Sky" system. Combine Teledesic, Nextel, and Nextlink (local phone) which are all McCaw companies and a potential future partnering with Microsoft and the possibilities are staggering. I'm not saying anything definite, but there is a scenario which could make a lot of sense down the line. By the way, Bill Gates is the other main investor in Teledesic. Boeing rounds out the Seattle triad; I'm pretty sure they are slated to build the Teledesic satellites (someone here correct me if I'm wrong).

Rob

Paul Robert: good news about the phones, huh?

Guess I can wait to change phones, unitl the new phones are released. Right now I communicate with one phone in each hand and I get easily confused. Forget who I am talking to. After I get frustrated, I just put both phones on hold and yell. They can hear me just fine without the phone. You know what they say, when you get old what is the first thing that goes? At least I have my voice and a very big grin.
