I bought a building, fixed it up to the buyer's exact specifications and sold it.

If they had said, "We want solar", I'd have said "You have to front it or else do without walls and the ceiling."
But... they didn't.

You should have said "You forgot the solar stuff".

Then we would have said, "Good idea", and started looking for government grants to fund it, or maybe a "lease your roof thing".
