One more example of the consequences of this administration.

On Saturday, December 6, 2014

From a police officer in Maryland:

CDS enforcement by patrol is on life support as it is and total arrests have dropped by about 90% where I work. There were guys on my shift who used to go out and get 17 legitimate lock ups per shift, the majority of them felonies. Now, the department is lucky if the whole shift gets 17 lock ups for the month. The hand writing is on the wall: do nothing and save your job. Folks on the street are acting accordingly. I asked one guy I work with why he stopped making arrests. His answer “I can’t risk getting fired.” This is by no means a brutal or corrupt Officer. Very polite, very professional and at one time a very hard worker. Not anymore. The same goes for everyone to his left and right. They’ve all shut down. Police work is effectively over for them and that means that police services are effectively non-existent for the thousands of people who live and work where they patrol. Occasionally someone will ask me why we don’t Police the way we used to. I tell them why in explicit detail and suggest that they write their elected representatives.

A lot of guys refuse to run code anymore. They won’t activate their lights or siren for anything other than a call to Assist the Officer. Assault in progress? Drive the speed limit. A shooting or a cutting? Drive the speed limit and make sure to stop for at least three seconds at every traffic control device. Why? Because every accident where the Officer runs code is now the Officer’s fault regardless of the transportation articles. So be it. Patrol will adjust accordingly. EMS will not enter the scene where someone is injured as a result of armed criminal action if we are not present. The longer it takes for the Police to arrive the longer that victim bleeds. The problem is that you can’t be fired for getting there a minute late even if the victim dies but you can and will be fired if you crash trying to get there in time, even if you didn’t violate the law or department policy.

Cameras will only make the situation worse. We have already been told that if we get cameras they will have to be turned off when we enter private property to avoid running afoul of the current wiretapping statute. That right there knocks their effectiveness down by about fifty percent. Domestics, EPs/mental cases and investigate the trouble calls account for a good many uses of force. You can ignore a drug dealer on the sidewalk. You can’t ignore a knife wielding schizophrenic who refuses to take his medication. If the Officer thinks that entering that house or apartment to deal with said EP will result in the loss of his job he’s going to pull back and wait for SWAT. Why? Because if he forms a perimeter and everyone in the house is murdered he cannot be disciplined. If he enters the house and kills said EP when attacked with said knife and the family claims racism/brutality/murder he’s looking at termination.

When the cameras come arrests for loitering, disorderly, CDS possession and distribution as a well as a host of other offenses will all but cease. A use of force can be justified but look ugly at the same time. High ranking Police Executives and Mayors don’t like ugly - even if ugly is both lawful and necessary. The result is that Officers will be fired or suspended until the message is received that ugly will not be tolerated. At that point active police work will cease - the process has already started.

A lot of folks want body cameras. They’re not going to like what they get namely Police who will arrive slowly and will simply go through the motions when they arrive - if they come at all. The only thing that Officer is required to do is show up for work on time and get to his call for service eventually (which could be hours). If the Police go into hibernation they are untouchable. No one can be fired or prosecuted for doing the bare minimum. Sadly, that’s the future. It’s unfolding right now.

Jon Voight comments on Obama-

-He's really extreme, but he's always trying to say something to cover it. He's like a Leftist from the Sixties. I was on the Left, that's why I know who he is. He says he'll talk to everybody like Hamas and Iran, but it's simple-minded candy he's throwing to the extreme left wing. He'd be the biggest disaster for Israel - and all democracies - that I can think of. -

This is a perilous time, and more than ever, the world needs a united and strong America. If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.

imdb.com

I was caught up in the hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was brought about through Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement.

It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.

NYC Judge Frees 2nd Cop-Hater In 2 days
...............................................................................

Judge Laura Johnson. left. was at it again, freeing a cop-punching man, Travis Maye, a day after letting a man who made death threats against NYPD officers off without bail.

Via NY Post

She keeps turning ’em loose.

A day after freeing a gang member who posted an anti-cop death threat online, a Brooklyn judge ignored the admonishment of a court boss — and sprung a man who allegedly punched a police officer and threatened to kill his colleagues, The Post has learned.

Criminal Court Judge Laura Johnson blatantly disregarded an Office of Court Administration boss who said she “should be setting an example to the public that threatening or assaulting police officers isn’t an acceptable thing,” a courthouse source said.

The admonishment came in the wake of Saturday’s execution-style slayings of two NYPD cops as they sat in a patrol car in Brooklyn.

“The court administrator told her she exercised poor judgment, and that she had a case on later that night, and that she should exercise better judgment in that case,” the source said.

“It was a stern conversation,” the source added. “And she totally ignored it.”

On Tuesday night, Johnson released Travis Maye, 26, without bail following his arrest in a violent melee with cops earlier that day.

According to court records, Maye took swings at cops at Flatbush Avenue and Prospect Place at around 1:35 a.m., socking one officer in the eye and sending him to the hospital.[…]

Johnson came under fire following her decision Monday night, first reported by The Post, to spring Devon Coley without bail after he confessed to posting an online photo of a gunman shooting into an NYPD cruiser.

His Facebook post came just hours after cops Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu were assassinated the same way, and included the phrase “73Nextt” — an apparent reference to the 73rd Precinct.

Opposition to communist de Blasio reaches new heights
....................................................
By Yaron Steinbuch December 26, 2014
nypost.com

Photo: William Farrington

The opposition to Mayor de Blasio reached new heights Friday – with a plane flying a banner reading “De Blasio, Our Backs Have Turned To You” over the Hudson River.

Ashley Chalmers, owner of Jersey Shore Aerial Advertising, the company that flew the banner, declined to reveal from the airborne plane who hired him for the flight.

John Cardillo, a blogger and former NYPD cop, tweeted that he was contacted by a “coalition of NYPD cops, Detectives, and supervisors” and asked to release this statement:

“As a large and unified group of current and retired NYC Police Officers, Detectives, & Supervisors, we are outraged by the mayor’s incendiary rhetoric, and for facilitating the current hostile climate towards the NYPD. We understand that the department and even our own unions can only go so far in their public condemnation of the mayor as to not irreparably damage the working relationship with the city, or future contract negotiations.

“It is our opinion that Mayor de Blasio’s dangerous and irresponsible comments about his and his wife’s concern for their son’s safety at the hands of the NYPD fueled the flames that led to civil unrest, and potentially to the deaths of PO Wenjian Liu and PO Rafael Ramos, as well as the continued threats against NYPD personnel. The Mayor shows us no respect, and encourages the public to follow his lead.

“Mayor de Blasio clearly doesn’t understand nor care that every man and woman of the NYPD would give their life to protect his son, his family, and every other resident of New York City. Tragically, two of our Finest made that ultimate sacrifice days before Christmas.

“We no longer have confidence in Mayor de Blasio, nor in his ability to lead New York City and promote the values that both the NYPD and the good law abiding citizens of the city hold dear.

"Mayor de Blasio turned his back on us long before we turned our backs on him. “

Hizzoner has faced the wrath of the police rank-and-file in the aftermath of the execution killings of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.

Many cops said they blame de Blasio for helping to create a climate of distrust in cops that has turned them into targets.

A group of seething cops literally turned their backs on the mayor when he walked past them at Woodhull Hospital, where Ramos and Liu were pronounced dead.

Some Finest also signed a “Don’t Insult My Sacrifice” waiver, distributed by the PBA, that warned the mayor and City Council Melissa Mark-Viverito to stay away from funerals of cops killed in the line of duty.

De Blasio incurred cops’ wrath when he referred to an assault by Brooklyn Bridge protesters on two lieutenants as “alleged” – despite a dramatic video of the attack.

The mayor also said that he and his wife Chirlane McCray had spoken to their biracial son, Dante, about the “dangers” posed by cops.

Al O’Leary, a spokesman for the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, told The Post he was unaware of the banner. He said his union would not comment until after the funerals for the slain cops.

Insane Lefty Max Blumenthal-- Chris Kyle was just a popular mass murderer [Immoral equivalency]

.....................................................................................
Hotair ^ | 12/26/2014 | NOAH ROTHMAN

AlterNet Senior Writer Max Blumenthal
determined that it was a bright course of action to sharply criticize a film he had admittedly not seen simply because he detests its subject.

“I haven’t seen American Sniper, but correct me if I’m wrong: An occupier mows down faceless Iraqis but the real victim is his anguished soul,”

Blumenthal wrote smugly on his Twitter account. “The whole film’s appeal seems to derive from the latent racism that led America into Iraq.”

Blumenthal compares the late Kyle to the mass murdering Lee Boyd Malvo (though he confuses the name). “John Lee Malvo, another mass murdering sniper, would not be glorified on prime time,” Blumenthal averred, confusing the young accomplice of the “D.C. Sniper” for the prime suspect in those killings, John Allen Muhammad.

When confronted with the tastelessness of his comparison by a Twitter user who contended that the impressionable Malvo was misled, Blumenthal indicted the military. “[H]e was brainwashed and stripped of his humanity,” Blumenthal scoffed. “But that never happened to our servicemen, of course.”

Such trite parlor socialism hardly merits a response, but it certainly does deserve wider exposure. This type of thinking – comparing an American serviceman who saved countless lives with over 160 confirmed kills, is pathological. It is also, however, quite common on the extreme left.

.....................................................................................................................................................................................

It’s easy to spout such nonsense when someone else is protecting you.

That didn’t take long - nothing more about those 130 kids killed by the Taliban but to besmirch an American hero, that’s what the MSM is all about ...

What does Max think of Janet Reno and her burning of 80+ men, women and children in Waco, TX?

Let’s add to Blumenthal’s list:

Audie Murphy, Alvin York, Chesty Puller, John Basilone, Joshua Chamberlain;

All mass murderers, too.

Blumenthal is one of the most evil POS’s walking around. He’d make a fine advisor to BHO.

So Max, although you lose grip on logic very quickly, we can establish you’re accepting the premise that mass murder is a horrible thing.

So where does that put us with Fidel Castro? Bill Ayers? Bernadine Dohrn? Or their good friend in the white house?

The question is, do you even know what you think?

This piece of crap is a Muslim apologist and he thinks like 99.99999999999999% of those burnoosed bastards.

Brandeis Students Threaten Journalist for Reporting Anti-Cop Statements

frontpagemag.com
By Bradford Thomas December 25, 2014

Reprinted from TruthRevolt.org.

Brandeis student and TruthRevolt contributor Daniel Mael has come under fire from campus progressives and fellow students for writing about a Brandeis student representative’s tweet declaring that she had “no sympathy” for the two NYPD officers murdered in Brooklyn Saturday. Since the story went viral, Mael has become the target of personal threats and a campaign to see him suspended or expelled from the school.

In his piece Saturday, Mael quoted multiple Twitter posts by Khadijah Lynch, at the time the Undergraduate Department Representative for Brandeis’ African and Afro-American Studies program, which expressed her lack of “sympathy” for the two police officers murdered earlier that day. “i have no sympathy for the nypd officers who were murdered today,” she wrote Saturday, followed by “lmao, all i just really dont have sympathy for the cops who were shot. i hate this racist <censored>ing country.”

Mael followed the quotes with other inflammatory statements posted by Lynch, including posts asking “what the <censored> even IS ‘non-violence’,” decrying “Zionism,” declaring “the fact that black people have not burned this country down is beyond me” and “I am in riot mode.”

TruthRevolt contacted Lynch for clarification about her statement about the NYPD officers; she responded by saying that any publication of her Twitter posts was “slander.” Mael reported that Lynch then returned to Twitter to say that she needed to “get my gun license. Asap.” and that “amerikkka needs an infitada” (a violent uprising).

This is the second time in recent weeks that TruthRevolt has been accused by left-wing activists of defamation for simply quoting them
.

The abortion activist and actress Lena Dunham went so far as to serve this publication with a cease and desist for reporting statement made in her own book.

When Mael’s article went viral, Brandeis officials distanced the school from Lynch’s comments, calling them “hurtful and disrespectful,” and African and Afro-American Studies Department Chair Chad Williams issued a statement announcing Lynch’s resignation from her position as student representative for the program. Williams also denounced online criticism of Lynch, which he described as “horrifically racist, sexist, Islamophobic and threatening physical violence.”

Now Brandeis students supportive of Lynch are attempting to start a movement to have Mael either suspended or expelled.

The Daily Caller reports that a member of the 2014-15 student conduct board sent an email Monday to the Brandeis president, senior administrators, professors, and students calling on them to “stand up for the principle of social justice” and hold Mael “accountable.” Entitled “VERY IMPORTANT: Holding Daniel Mael accountable, and other threats to student safety!” the email charges Mael with “expos[ing] Khadijah to the largely white supremacist following of the website” and claims that he has “potentially” violated student conduct policies. (Full text of email below.)

Due to the threatening nature of much of the pushback, Brandeis law enforcement officials have met with Mael to discuss his safety on campus.
WFB reported Tuesday that Brandeis officials told them that they were “in touch” with campus law enforcement who was working to address threats against those on campus but could provide no further details due to student privacy and security policies.

As of the time of publication, the administration at Brandeis has made no public statement in support of Mr. Mael’s first amendment rights or, as with the statement from Department Chair Chad Williams, denouncing the racist and sometimes violent statements being made by actual Brandeis students against him.

The Manitoba Herald

The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The Republicans winning the Senate is prompting an exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they'll soon be required to hunt, pray, and live according to the Constitution.

Canadian border farmers say it's not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, global warming activists, and "green" energy proponents crossing their fields at night.

"I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn," said Southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota . “The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn't have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?"

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields, but they just keep coming.

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into electric cars and drive them across the border where they are simply left to fend for themselves after the battery dies.

"A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions," an Ontario border patrolman said. "I found one carload without a single bottle of Perrier drinking water. They did have a nice little Napa Valley cabernet, though, and some kale chips."

When liberals are caught, they're sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and study the Constitution.

In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half- dozen young vegans in blue-hair wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the '50s. "If they can't identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age," an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage, buying up all the Barbara Streisand c.d.'s, and renting all the Michael Moore movies. "I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can't support them," an Ottawa resident said. "How many art-history majors does one country need?"

“To me, he is my soul mate,” Liu’s grieving widow, Pei Xia Chen, told mourners. “Wenjian is an incredible husband, son, co-worker and friend – my best friend. ”

Chen said policing was a passion of Liu’s.

“As the only son, the No. 1 son, he was extremely close [to] and respected his parents , of course,” she said. “One of this many passion was being a police officer. He took pride in the fact that he was NYPD.”

Chen was in tears throughout her address.

She finished by saying, “I thank you, my extended family, my family of blue.”

Liu will be buried at Cypress Hills Cemetery.

The 32-year-old had been on the job for seven years. Liu emigrated from China 20 years ago and dreamed of being a police officer.

Liu had only been married for two months when he was killed.
