And maybe the Republicans would not have huge majorities in the house and senate if Obama had assumed his role as leader of the democratic party and helped the Democrats more in subsequent elections! The Democrats told him to stay away.....and it was the worst turnout of Dems since WW II.Only two Dems invited him to come speak. He was put in the corner. Why? Because the Dems thought he was unpopular. Why did they think he was unpopular with the base? Because the Rs told them so. And they refused to run on his numerous accomplishments. What I've seen of Dems.....they have no balls..........and believe whatever the Rs tell them to believe. They are ass lickers and I probably will leave the party when Obama retires.
