"Do you really think the kids, liberals and women would have forsaken Hillary for someone running to the right of her"

The women left Obama to vote for Hillary. She beat him in all the big states... Calif, NY, PA, Fla, Texas, Ohio. He won by playing small ball... caucus, convention, and super delegates. That's OK, cuz a win is a win, but the parents of the kids, the moderates, and women voted for Hil.

I was one of those people who stole votes from Hillary and won my caucus. I admit it. Guilty as charged.

From the Slate article Wharf posted:

Hillary Clinton still towers over every potential competitor, the most popular person in the Democratic Party not named Barack or Michelle.

To reiterate, the Obamas are the stars of the Dem party.

A year ago, the left of the Democratic Party didn’t have an ideological leader. Now, it arguably does in the form of Warren.

Liberals are a wing of the Dem party and not THE party. They have a right to have some of their issues on the party platform but they don't get to control the platform. Finally, its unlikely that a liberal can win a presidential election in this country. We saw that with Dukakis.

"One of the major problems with liberals.........and I had to come to terms with this issue..........is that they have trouble accepting that this is a center right country. The Rs have set the meme and people believe it. I suggest you start coming to terms with that reality >>

Well, I am not convinced Warren cannot win and I am not content to adjusting to a center right nation. We need politicians to help pull the nation to center left.

The nation is not center right on issues like minimum wage. If JFK and Bobby had lived we would be center left now.

Obama could have helped to pull us center left if he had tried..

Maybe Warren can.

I am OK with Warren staying in the senate and pushing for center left policies, if she is not viable. I will not support her if she wants to run and I am convinced she cannot win.

I understand clearly we dems must win in 2016 no matter what.
