Protection of the environment, etc. And many of those things he's done. The reality is that the Rs have moved further right under Obama. They are very threatened these days. The fact that whites will be a minority by 2040 scares the bejezus out of them. Its why Obama has been treated to so much racism since assuming the presidency. This country is in a very dangerous position. The USSC has aided and abetted American corps and they wield way too much power over the gov't. And then what's even more disturbing is that we have selfish liberals like Ginsburg who is unwilling to give up her power. So its very probable that if a R wins in 2016, what was once the most august gov't body, the USSC, will become even more conservative. As I said these are dangerous times and liberals need to get their heads out of the sand and recognize the common fight we face. In other words, I think your expectations are way out of alignment with the reality on the ground. Sorry.
