Those two for starters. Then give her the time to get use to it before getting any more as they are expensive. Then she will decide what she wants to try next.

I have an 11 yr old Kitchenaid stand mixer, use it all the time and love it. I've never purchased any of their attachments...........no need. I received three blades with it, standard mixing blade, wire whip blade and bread dough blade. If your wife is an avid cook get her the fancy one.

Mine is like this.........kind of a Plain Jane.
