If his brain thinks. this is a end of the year salary of someone and he is going home. His conscience tells to seek owner.

And when relative prices change, when relative value being added changes, then we want that labour and capital to move from one part of the economy, where it is becoming less productive, over to some other part of the economy where it would be more productive.

This is exactly what is happening. As oil becomes less valuable we desire that less of society’s limited capital and labour be devoted to producing oil and for it to go off and produce something else more valuable that we can consume.
