>> The costs of the 2003-2010 Iraq War are often contested, as academics and critics have unearthed many hidden costs not represented in official estimates. The most recent major report on these costs come from Brown University in the form of the Costs of War, which totaled just over $1.1 trillion. The Department of Defense's direct spending on Iraq totaled at least $757.8 billion, but also highlighting the complementary costs at home, such as interest paid on the funds borrowed to finance the wars.

Yes, sometimes wars, like every government project known to man, come in massively over budget. I will stipulate that the war took longer than I thought it would and longer than the leadership thought it would. But we won it, only to have that win forked over by Obama at no charge. Thanks for nothing.

But you spend what you must to fight a war. There isn't very much else I would say that about. But once the decision to go to war was made, budgetary considerations simply don't factor in. Just as you or I would spend our last dollars to protect our families.

When was the last time that obama went to visit out troops during the Holidays?

You know, those are our kids in other countries that are getting killed in numbers that would make Sharpton's head spin.

Your pathetic lapdog press seems to have forgotten them too.
