When one reads the following quote from here ( copperfoxmetals.mwnewsroom.com ) :
Teck Resources Limited ("Teck") as operator of the Schaft Creek Joint Venture
has recommended a comprehensive series of studies to review all aspects
(including metallurgical, pit slope design, geological modelling and
environmental) of the Schaft Creek project. The objective is to review all data
collected on the Schaft Creek project to the end of 2013 to update and optimize
various parameters of the project
One has to wonder what value did Teck see? They haven't given an answer yet.

I live 20 miles from Rosemont

That project would never be a go in this competitive desert watershed

Like Pebble, it was simply in a location that had more environmental baggage than mining in this era can overcome

Hi Meta, seeing you are an Arizona resident and likely have a better view of what may or may not fly in Arizona - what do you think of the various in-situ solution mining projects in Arizona, Excelsior and Van Dyke in particular from a local's perspective. Do you see a big struggle getting permitted or any environmental hurdles that may block them?

Of course, the companies themselves are playing it down that there is little risk on that front. A frank opinion from you on this topic would be appreciated as I am considering an investment in MIN. Real public perception would be invaluable...

I had previously thought that due to it being desert, there would be minimal hurdles, may be showing my ignorance on this topic?
