Perhaps..

I offer another theory to explain the recent weakness. I believe that the meltdown in Asia is the root. Remember that in the past Vtel sold a lot of stuff into China and other Asian countries ( not sure exact amount). those sales are almost certainly over but my thought is that they were 1 time deals anyway. the growth has and always will be in US over the next few years.

The 2nd reason why the Asia situation might hurt is that Asian manufacturers of VC equipment are almost certainly going to strat dumping to spurt sales. This of course could turn out to be an advantage in lowering component parts costs that VTel now outsources from Asia (wish I knew how much) and thereby decreasing the overall cost of manufacture the finished product.

Just speculation, but I for one am buying more Vtel and hanging on for the long run. I like the fact that the company has turned earnings around and that it is now selling for less than book value.
