Increasing CO2 lowers saturation state, the researchers say, and saturation state is very sensitive to CO2

Marine life is very sensitive to things like pH. A few tenths of a percent can make all of the difference in the world.

Just read up on how to maintain a salt water aquarium. Especially if you want to keep something like coral alive.
