The minimum spend requirement is $ 500k annually

...the carry costs on the claims themselves would probably offset a sizeable chunk of that

That is exactly what I am waiting for. Some sort of sign that Teck is going to continue on with this and not just do a bit of maintenance work while holding it for later years. I still find it hard to believe that after investing around 90 million, we sold 75% of the project back to Teck for just over 20 million and our management failed to get some sort of guarantee or promise that it was going to continue? That would make the whole Schaft Creek deal a total waste of time and resources and I just can't see how management could or would get themselves into a jackpot like that. One way or another, I don't think we have been told the whole story yet and my opinion is that our management has not been totally straight with us. No point crying over spilt milk but to just quit and sell isn't worth the few pennies on the dollar either. Just in case the big announcement is just around the corner! You know, soon! Right....
